A lovely and clever combination of lace squares and plain garter stitch squares, this design is knit using the modular technique, with the squares joined by knitting (not sewing), then the garter stitch edging is knit on. As shown, requires 5 skeins of Artisan NZ Merino Lace Weight for the stole, and 3 skeins for the scarf.

Lacy Botanical Scarves (2 left)
These garter stitch scarves are worked by knitting a lace edging from which stitches are picked up to work the main rectangular body, then finished by knitting another lace edging onto live stitches of the body. Finished sizes approximately 7 1/2 inches wide x 55 inches long.
